Starting as a lawyer with AOL (America Online, AOL Time Warner) in the centre of the first dot-com boom and then later as a pioneer in regulated online egaming including involvement in the management team for the first and biggest FTSE IPO for an egaming company (PartyGaming Plc), he thrives in the effort to combine innovating technologies with establishing sustainable business-models which can benefit a wide range of stakeholders. Julian has also acted as advisor, co-founder, director and investor in several businesses. Julian is also a qualified Non-Executive Director (Financial Times NED Diploma) and an approved Experienced Investment Fund Director in Gibraltar.

Timothy Mahapatra works with Rockchain as a strategic advisor and Non-Executive Director. Timothy is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP based in London with specific responsibility for Corporate Development. He is also Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Mi-C3 International Limited which is a fast growing global software business based in Malta. Until May 2017, Timothy had been a partner at Deloitte based in the UK where he had been the Global Managing Director for Deloitte’s Financial Advisory business and a member of the Deloitte Global Executive Committee and the UK Executive Committee. Timothy has significant knowledge of global markets particularly in relation to M&A ,where he has served many Corporate and Private Equity clients, as well as having a strong track record of creating and growing new businesses across many markets. Timothy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and has a MBA from Manchester Business School.
